Disney Auctions released 4 prototypes in gold and 4 in silver of the LE 100 series which was in black metal. The different metal colorings bring out different highlights of the pin design and in some cases bring a different look and feel to the actual release.
A certificate of authenticity was issued by Disney Auctions for this pin. It was sent separate cover. It read, Snow White Witch Prototype Pin Silver, This Snow White collector's pin depicting the Wicked Witch and her poisoned apple, is a silver-finished prototype preceding a limited ediction of 100 black-metal pins offered exclusively by Disney Auctions.
