This was given to Information Technology Cast Members at the meeting on Aug. 16, 2001.
Square with a red center and a Mickey head in the upper left corner there is a ring that runs from just behind the mickey head in a downward slant and has a large white lower case i with the dot being gold imposed over the middle of it. The ring continues until it breaks the right lower edge of the Square pin. Along the top of the "Brand Launch 2001" while along the bottoms it says "Information Technology" with Walt Disney World written just above it.
less than 500 The pins with the gold lettering on the top was given to IT Cast members at the Brand Launch meeting. The other pin looks identical to this one but does not have the Brand Launch gold lettering and was given to all IT Cast Members.
The design of the IT pin has a couple of ideas in it. The Ring shows that the IT "Connects the Magic" from the ideas of WDW to the technology of today and the ring goes outside of the square to encourage all IT CM to continually think "out of the box".
Similar to pin #12661, but that one does not have Brand Launch 2001 at the top.
