PP96771    Seven Dwarfs - South London Lions Club

Front Description

This 2" X 2 1/4" pin features the Seven Dwarfs from the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs feature film of 1937. The dwarfs ring the outside of the circle as a seal pokes out from a hole in the centre. The words "25 Years" appear above the hole and "London South" appears below. The seal probably represents "Slippery", a seal who made headlines in June 1958 when he escaped captivity in London Ontario and followed the Thames River from London to Lake Erie. Ten days later he was captured at Sandusky Ohio. The pin has two dangles, a red maple leaf representing Canada, and the Lions International symbol.
