This eight-pin Patriotic Shield set of 2013 Hidden Mickey pins was released in Wave B at Walt Disney World. Each shield-shaped pin features a different Disney character (in bust portrait) against a patriotic background of red, white and blue (like the United States flag). The shield is striped in red and white on the bottom two-thirds, while the top is a blue field with white stars. The small Hidden Mickey icon can be found on the right side of the pin, in the last white stripe. Pins were originally only available by trading with a cast member. In July 2013, pouches containing two random 2013 Hidden Mickey pins were available to purchase for $10.95.
This pin features a smiling Chip, half of the rascally chipmunk duo, standing with his arms bent in a very proud manner.
The five common pins include the Mickey Mouse, Chip, Russell from UP, Jessica from Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and Figment from EPCOT. Jessica and Russell are repeated on the two silver Chaser pins. Dale is featured on the Completer pin.
