One of eight pins from the 2013 Alice in Wonderland Playing Card Suits set of Hidden Mickey pins that was released in Wave A at Disneyland. A character from the movie appears on each pin, which appears shaped like a suit emblem from a playing card (i.e., club, spade, heart or diamond). The small Hidden Mickey icon can be found in different spots on the solid-colored background. Pins were originally only available by trading with a cast member. In July 2013, pouches containing two random 2013 Hidden Mickey pins were available to purchase for $10.95.
This Completer pin features the haughty Absolem the Caterpillar, his body facing left with his nose in the air. The background is a black Spade and has a Hidden Mickey icon on the right side.
The five common pins include the Mad Hatter, White Rabbit, Alice, Cheshire Cat, and the Queen of Hearts. The Mad Hatter and Queen of Hearts are repeated on the two silver Chaser pins. Absolem the Caterpillar is featured on the Completer pin. This pin wasn’t available until 2014, when it was released at Disneyland as one of 11 completer pins for the 2013 Disneyland Resort Hidden Mickey series available for $2.95 with any purchase of $30 or more.
