In 2016, Disney released a new birthstone series of pins. Each month has a different Disney Princess or female character. This oval shaped Disney pin features the August birthstone (Peridot) and Tiana from Disney's Princess and the Frog. A frog is also featured at the top of the pin, and "August" is featured at the bottom. The border and Tiana are bronzed and embossed. The background features glitter and a color similar to the Peridot birthstone. Two gems are featured on the sides. The pin comes in a small box wrapped in a pink ribbon.
