Front Description
On February 23rd, 2002, the Magic Kingdom held the Princess Ball Pin Event for a cost of $25 per person plus park admission to attend. Each attendee was to receive pin PP19442, which was limited to 1,000 and is a very nice pin. A small sign at the event distribution area stated that some of these pins were not up to Disney standards, so a replacement would be mailed to all event attendees. On 3 May 2002, the pin shown here was mailed as the replacement.
This pin features a black-and-white photo of a seated Walt Disney. Tinker Bell (pin-on-pin element) is in a lower position on the new pin, attached at the right side of Walt's photo. The border around the now-blue frame is accented with a Mickey head and Disney D. This revised pin also has the Princess Ball Logo on the reverse and states that it is a limited edition of 1,000.
