Between 28 Feb and 16 Aug 2003, WDW held six MICKEY'S SUPERSTAR TRADING TEAM events. each at a different Disney location and themed after a different aspect of Disney Pin Trading. Four different LE2500 pins were released at each event, designed to compliment the day's Pin Trading theme and background card. Once you'd purchased all four pins, you were eligible for one free card (designed specifically for that event) to frame with your pins. At Events 2-6, you were also eligible (with purchase of the four pins) for a free framing matboard to use with the background and pins. The cards are colorful and feature cartoon-style artistic interpretations of each specific location. The event logo is printed in one of the top corners on each card. The art for the pins has also been printed in situ, so there's no guessing about where to put your pins! There was an Event Logo pin available for purchase only during the events.
This EVENT 6 card spotlights the WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS COMPLEX and is entitled, "New & Cherished Friends". Pins for this event feature Si, Am and Lady; Jafar and Genie; Aurora and Maleficent; and Simba and Ed.

There will be fun Pin Trading on the the Pin Trading Boards filled with Limited Edition pins, Artist's Proofs, Disneyland Pins, and some rare and hard-to-find pins. There will be Pin Trading tables for meeting new friends and making great trades. There will also be four Limited Edition Pins released just for this special party!
