PP27779    DLR - 40 Years of Adventure 1995 Framed Set - Cast

Front Description

This stunning framed pin set was given to Cast Members in 1995 to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Disneyland. The wood/plastic composite frame measures 9 1/2" wide by 7 1/2" tall. Later, undistributed sets were broken up into three-pin Walt Disney Travel Company sets, each of which may contain any three of the attraction pins.

 

The plaque (not pin) in the upper-right corner reads, "CELEBRATING 40 YEARS OF ADVENTURE, 1955-1995, #XXXX of 1000, © Disney/Lucasfilm Ltd." Also on that plaque are the Lion King Celebration 1994 logo and the Indiana Jones Adventure 1995 logo.

Note: Although these pins look similar to the 35th Anniversary pins, there are differences. These do NOT have the words "35th Anniversary" on them and are much higher quality; the round ones are cloisonne.

 

Each framed set is individually numbered, though the pins are neither numbered or marked Limited Edition.
