A highly-limited edition managers-only commemorative Disney pin which celebrated the USA's participation in the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea (and Disney's active support). This pin was only given to certain Cast Members in Walt Disney management; it came in a special plastic box with the inscription: "COLLECTOR PIN / 1988 US OLYMPIC TEAM MASCOT/OFFICIAL LICENSED PRODUCT OF THE US OLYMPIC COMMITTEE/AND/CALGARY 1988/OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES/CALGARY 1988/JEUX OLYMPIQUES D'HIVER/AND/GAMES OF THE XXIVTH SEOUL OLYMPIAD/1988." The playful rectangular pin is gold with red background. Mickey and Donald, at right facing right, are playing Leap Frog. Donald is on his hands and knees; Mickey is seen with hands on Donald's shoulders, leaping over him. Donald is dressed in his normal costume, but Mickey has yellow shorts and gloves (rather than his normal red shorts and white gloves). To their left is the "Disneyland (r)" logo in gold, with "OLYMPIC TEAM SALUTE 1988 U.S.A." below. At the bottom, in gold, are the five Olympic interlocking rings. 1 1/4"W x 7/8"H.
